Stage 1 Tune

What Stage 1 includes (ECU):

- Optimized ignition timing (safe margins)
- Improved throttle response
- Smoother torque delivery
- Reduced torque dips
- Improved pedal mapping
- Mild burbles
(optional, can be disabled)
- Idle refinement
- Better cold‑start behavior
- Better fan control / cooling strategy
- Fueling corrections for intakes/exhausts
- Safe for 91 octane (North America baseline)

What Stage 1 includes (TCM):

- Faster, smoother shifts
- Reduced shift hesitation
- Improved downshift logic
- Better torque handoff
- Mild shift firmness
- Better converter lockup strategy


Our TCM Tunes are Designed to be compatible with most ECU tunes. We do not modify transmission calibrations that could conflict with third‑party ECU calibrations (in other words, vehicles can receive our TCM tune even if they already have an ECU tune from another provider / tuner).

Supported mods for Stage 1:

- Upgraded Intakes & Filters
- Catback exhaust, Resonator delete
- Heat exchanger (VR30)
- Lightweight pulleys
- Stock fuel system
- Stock turbos
- Other Mild bolt‑ons

*NOT recommended in Stage 1:

- Flex‑fuel
- Downpipes
- Test pipes
- High‑flow cats
- Turbo upgrades
- Port injection
- Meth injection
- Built engines
- High ethanol blends


*These mods require Stage 2 tuning or specialized custom tuning (Stage 3)

Stage 2 Tune

What Stage 2 includes (ECU):

- More aggressive ignition timing
- Higher torque targets
- Faster throttle response
- More aggressive burbles (optional, can be disabled)
- Adjustable burble sliders
- More aggressive throttle mapping & response
- Optimized fueling for full bolt‑ons
- Optional crackle duration control
- Optional launch behavior refinements

What Stage 2 includes (TCM):

- Faster, firmer shifts
- More aggressive shift logic
- Higher torque limits
- Faster torque handoff
- Sportier converter lockup
- Optional shift firmness slider

Our TCM Tunes are Designed to be compatible with most ECU tunes. We do not modify transmission calibrations that could conflict with third‑party ECU calibrations (in other words, vehicles can receive our TCM tune even if they already have an ECU tune from another provider / tuner).

Supported mods for Stage 2:

- High-Performance Intakes with large filters
- Catback, High‑flow cats
- Headers (VQ)
- Heat exchanger (VR30)
- Intercoolers (VR30)
- Lightweight pulleys
- Upgraded cooling
- Flex‑fuel (ONLY on VQ37, VQ35, VQ40)

*NOT recommended in Stage 2:

- Turbo upgrades
- Port injection / Ported Intake Plenums
- Meth injection
- Built engines
- Standalone ECUs
- VR30 flex‑fuel (until our ECU tuning is ready)
- Upgraded Cams, Crank and other internals

*These mods require specialized custom tuning (Stage 3)

Stage 3 — Tuner‑Reserved

Reserved for professional tuners and advanced builds.
Stage 3 is not offered as a tuning package, it defines the boundary where custom tuning becomes necessary

due to major hardware changes or vehicles requiring advanced performance goals.
These custom calibrations require professional oversight based on unique vehicle modifications and requirements.

What qualifies as Stage 3

- Standalone ECUs
- Injector / fuel pump upgrades
- Turbo or supercharger upgrades
- Boost control adjustments
- E85 or flex/multi‑fuel setups
- Major airflow changes
- Camshaft or cam‑phasing modifications
- Extreme burble/crackle behavior
- Dyno‑optimized custom ignition and fueling
- Port injection / Ported Intakes
- Methanol / Nitrous injection
- VR30 flex‑fuel (will qualify as Stage 2 when our VR30 ECU tuning is ready)

- Built engines / upgraded internals (Cam, Crank, Valves, Pistons etc)
