Stage 2 ECU Tune

Applies to: Enthusiasts with high-flow bolt-on upgrades who need precise air-mass re-scaling and better engine dynamics.

Engineered specifically to maximize hardware upgrades that increase flow, such as high-flow intakes and downpipes. When you change your intake piping size, the factory air-modeling loops fail to track incoming air mass accurately and throw check engine lights, or runs incorrect AFRs, risking combustion issues due to bad trims. Similarly, behavior at the output side of the engine causes similar issues on a vehicle, resulting in higher EGT (exhaust gas temperatures) and higher component strain due to backpressure drop compensation on the exhaust side.

Our Stage 2 map features fully re-scaled Speed-Density, Volumetric Efficiency (VE), and airflow mass matrices mapped directly from vehicles running specific mods. We safely optimize electronic wastegate targets (on turbo cars), enrich fueling to combat track-level thermal loads, and other enhancements to claim back power that has been stripped from your car.

Upgrade paths (Stage 1, Stage 2)

You don't need our Stage 1 tune to go to Stage 2 directly. If you have supporting modifications, you can straight away select a Stage 2 ECU / TCM Tune or ECU + TCM Bundle. Stage 1 is also useful for vehicles that will be modified progressively from stock or from a light amount of mods, to heavier mods.
